What we do

We facilitate change in the way people travel, concentrating on cycling, and providing a number of services to the community:

  1. Special schools and schools seeking inclusiveness in their travel plans.

  2. Families seeking advice for members who have a mental or physical disability where cycling can enhance life experience and family togetherness.

  3. Older people who are unable to use a normal bicycle but where the provision of alternative methods and adaptations can overcome the difficulties.  This area should not be underestimated.  A person, restricted in their ability to walk, run or use a normal bicycle may well find their ‘mileage’ horizons diminishing year by year to trips measured in yards rather than miles.

  4. Businesses seeking and developing inclusion policies for staff transportation and commuting.

Who we are

The Director of this project, John Simnett, has a lifelong experience of working with charities, not-for-profit, government and commercial enterprises and social entrepreneurship.  He is experienced in not-for-profit governance and business administration and finance, having been CEO of various organisations and businesses for a period over 20+ years.

Sandra Reed is a qualified teacher who specialises in education and training in schools and commercial organisations.  She is also a qualified cycle trainer, previously working for Richmond Borough.

Supporting the above is a team of trained mechanics and cycle enthusiasts backed by a comprehensive local workshop for modifications and maintenance and a number of qualified cycle trainers.

We are supported by Transport for London and the London Cycling Campaign.
